Behind Arrisan

Work has its highs and its hard edges. I’ve seen both up close.

Arrisan began during a period of unemployment and accelerated when Hilary, Martin and Emma came on board. Although founded in 2022, its roots go back much further.

My career has spanned the extremes behind the polished surface of organisations. On the upside, I’ve seen what’s possible when difficult issues are handled well: trust rebuilt after sensitive situations, engagement rising as friction falls, teams set up to succeed, meaningful change delivered, ethical investigations run properly, mobility and inclusion advanced.

On the other side, I worked at the sharp end — as a solicitor and senior HR and Employee Relations leader, holding the in-house employment lawyer remit throughout — resolving serious matters and carrying responsibility when reputations, careers and risk were on the line.

Those experiences shape Arrisan.

We turn sharp-end insight into practical tools for moments that drive trust, performance and results. These moments are easy to miss and easier to mishandle. They demand clarity, calm and somewhere safe to think.
